Lean Themes was a side business I ran for a few years — a small studio selling clean, opinionated WordPress themes built around the maker / indie-publisher use case. I designed the brand, the marketing site, and every theme that shipped on it: the LeanWP front-end, blog, blog post, shop home, product, search, and cart templates, plus the launch creative for the Kickstart theme. It was the first time I had to be the client, the designer, the developer, and the support inbox all at once.
